Do they (boox) have those note taking quality of life stuff, similar to marking a star or making headings etc so you can organize notes? I don’t own supernote but I like those features

Love how close the e-ink screen to the glass cover is. Gives a more paper-like feel/analog vibe to it. Somehow not a big fan of the launcher, it looks awkward.

Thanks for the informative review! My main issue is eye strain. So I'm looking for an alternative for my tablet. Is this colored Boox Note Air3 C is really e-ink technology? So it does not emit light (or at least has an option to stop it from doing so). Meaning, if I switch off the room light, nothing is seen just like Kindle?

IfI want something to read Kindle books, to read and markup pdfs and webpages, and to sync to Instapaper and Readwise, which eInk tablet would you recommend? I also like notebook and journal templates.

I wish you had bought an inexpensive stand for your phone, and included that in the comparison as the lowest-cost option. Aside from cameras and video processing that are better than the Logitech, my iPhone 13 Pro has multiple microphones, canceling a lot of background noise. Not as good as a dedicated mic, but better than the one in your Cannon. Microphones on Nikon, Sony and Panasonic cameras are no better, which is why so many influencers spend a bunch more on at least one external mic!

I think i will buy this, i was thinking about getting a freewrite ink writer to write books without distraction, but its $500+tax and..this...well, this is less than $300, and i have a tiny bluetooth keyboard. Like that is so perfect! Plus, i can use this at work on my downtime instead of pulling out my entire Kindle. This is like the coolest creation

I would kill for a supernote with a front light - even though it seems they never will.

How is the writing experience compare with Note Air 3?

The camera is OK, but the software is garbage. The default viewing screen is a narrow band with black bars on the sides (that do get recorded), or a full screen that is about a 5 x 5 inch area. IF you have really small documents I guess it would work just fine, otherwise it's useless.

I just ordered one on Amazon. It’s the reMarkable with 300ppi and open Android,I hope that no front light will not be an issue. If so I will trade it for a Note X3 Pro.

Shame not to be compatible with a stylus pen, small pictures for social media is a thing. Easier for scaling on a smaller screen

Why does the interface remind me of the supernote so much?

Your sketching is fantastic. And the devices looks... remarkable. Love to see your thoughts on where this fits on your positioning charts and an answer to the question "Is the Go 10.3 an upgrade from a remarkable?". Because you do make it look that way!

It's interesting that the shift key is non-responsive. Supernote had the same issue when you and I tested the desktop app (beta at the time) pass through for a wired keyboard.

Can you please review the handwriting to text conversation with boox. I am planning to use this for writing a book.
